Sound Designers make podcasts on Vermillion Sands

J.G. Ballad’s short story Venus Smiles*, 1957 is set on the remote resort of Vermillion Sands and tells of a sound sculpture that takes on a life of its own.  Despite attempts to hide and eventually destroy it, the sculpture can’t be defeated…

Students on Interactive Sound Environments have made multi-episode podcasts telling the story with sound only.
